Ladies and gentlemen, distinguished guests, honored dignitaries, and fellow citizens of our country.
It is my pleasure to welcome you to the Ogun state public enlightenment campaign flag-off on sensitizing the citizenry on the Federal government intervention programme sat the state and local government levels. It is a flagship initiative of our President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu. Today, we gather to reiterate the transformative journey of the present administration’ commitment to the alleviation of poverty, increase productivity, support developmental desires and better living among the citizen of our great nation amongst others. And, for these to be adequately achieved, the Honourable Minister for Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris, FNIPR mandated that all the lofty transformative programms of Mr. President should be domesticated and brought to the door steps of every Nigerians with the aim of making them to know the available resources that can be accessed free from the Federal Government for an improved living.
On behalf of the Honourable Minister, I extend our deepest gratitude to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his visionary leadership and unwavering dedication to the well-being of our citizens. These programmes are testaments to his administration’s resolve to provide succour, relieve and assist in navigating through the mucky waters of the present global economic hardship, which Nigeria is not immune from.
This initiative was designed to cut across every strata of the divide and touch the lives of different class, gender and standings of Nigerians with trickle effects on the social, economic and political wellbeing of the citizenry. With these in mind, Mr. President graciously rolled out the under listed for the benefits of all:
- Interest free student loan to Nigerian Tertiary Institutions and monthly upkeep by the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) www.nelf.gov.ng
- Removal of structural, market and policy barriers and acceleration of access to consumer credit. www.credicorp.ng
- Investment in Digital and Creative Enterprises programmes. Promotion of investments in technology and creative ecosystems in the country. www.boi.ng/idic
- The Presidential CNG initiative (pi-CNG) providing succour to the masses occasioned by the transitive hardship of the removal of the fuel subsidy policy of the Federal Government.
- Empowering young Nigerians with skills and mentorship to unlock their potentials to become future leaders. www.niya.ng
- The Bank of Industry delivery of tailored support and low interest loans to micro-enterprises in the formal, semi formal and informal sectors.
- Positioning Nigeria as a global hub for talent export and global partnership by propelling Nigerian talents to the world stage. www.natep.gov.ng
