FIC Report (Anambra State) – Anambra State Government has signed a memorandum of understanding with ten development partners.
Governor Chukwuma Soludo signed the agreement on behalf of the state government at the second edition of the Anambra State investment summit at the International Convention Centre in Awka.
The development partners and their projects include the National Agricultural Land Development Authority for the development of agro land, Genesis Energy and VFD Energy for the development of Independent power plants, Axxela Limited for gas reticulation, MP Infrastructure, for the development of Onitsha New City and Marich International, for the development of Awkuzu Park.
Others are JNC International for Anambra Oncology Centre, Cardinal stone for Anambra Development Investment Corporation, United Nations’ Development Programme, for the development of Maker space Hub. Marriott will develop the Awka International Hotel, while Protea will rebrand Agulu Lake Hotel.
Governor Soludo in his speech stressed that Anambra State is a land of great opportunities, expressing optimism of partnering more with strategic developers to ensure sustainable economic transformation in the state.
