Honourable Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo, SAN, CON, FCIArb (UK) has received The Street Journal ‘Super Minister Award’ of the year 2024. The award was presented to him today, Wednesday 17th July, 2024 in his office by the Editor, The Street Journal.
Keyamo, while appreciating The Street Journal Press Crew for their many years of contribution to national development in promoting good governance and democracy said the award was a testament of the positive development in the Nigeria Aviation industry.
Keyamo said he could not but receive The Street Journal Award because it is the voice of Nigerians, as result of the pool has clearly shown.
Keyamo further stated that there are a lot more to be done in the aviation sector and promised to reciprocate the award as a challenge to do more to move Nigeria Aviation sector to international global standard.
Earlier, the Editor The Street Journal, Nkarenyi Ukonu while presenting the award to the Minister, stated that the award was a way to encourage Ministers to put in their best in the development of the country. Adding that the reason Hon. Minister was voted for was as a result of his outstanding performances and unwavering commitment to the aviation sector in line with global practices.
