Abuja, Nigeria – April 26, 2024 – The Federal Ministry of Arts, Culture, and Creative Economy convened a high-level Cabinet Retreat on Day 2 of its inaugural retreat, focusing on aligning strategic plans with Presidential Priorities and Ministerial Deliverables for 2023-2027. Led by Honourable Minister Hannatu Musa-Musawa and Permanent Secretary James Sule, the retreat brought together heads of agencies within the ministry, directors, and key stakeholders to chart a course for sustainable growth and development in the creative sector.

The second day of the retreat saw agency heads and directors presenting their strategic plans, demonstrating a commitment to advancing the President’s agenda and achieving ministerial deliverables. These plans were carefully crafted to align with national priorities, emphasizing inclusivity, innovation, and sustainability.

Highlighting the ministry’s dedication to accountability and performance, Honourable Minister Hannatu Musa-Musawa and Permanent Secretary James Sule presided over the signing of the 2023 Performance Bond. This significant milestone reaffirmed the commitment of all stakeholders, including agency heads, directors, and the ministry leadership, to deliver on set targets and drive impactful change in the creative economy landscape.
