Minister of Telecommunications and Digital Economy, Dr. Isa Ali Ibrahim Pantami has disclosed that the Bureau of Public Service Reforms (BPSR) will soon be incorporated as a member of some Information, Communication and Technology (ICT) Committees they will set up in their Ministry and agencies under the Ministry.
He made this known in his office when he received a delegation of BPSR management team led by Mr. Dasuki Ibrahim Arabi, the Director General.
Pantami, while receiving his visitors, said there is need for his Ministry and BPSR to work together, to help drive their Digital Economy agenda collectively.
He noted that the Telecommunication and Digital Economic Ministry, together with the ICT sector contributed positively to the growth of the country’s economy last year.
The Minister, assured the BPSR management that his Ministry will support and collaborate with the Bureau for both of them to achieve their mutual goals.
On his part, Arabi, described Dr. Pantami as a hero of reforms, saying: “You have championed key reform initiatives not only around ICT, but also around improving the fortunes of the country. As the Minister of Digital Economy, you have been working with us and we are succeeding in what we are doing.”
