FIC Report (Edo State) – The Edo State Police Command has trained 160 officers in advanced combat operations to strengthen security and combat crime across the state.

According to a statement released on Sunday by the Command’s spokesperson, CSP Moses Yamu, the officers underwent training in two batches as part of efforts to enhance their operational capabilities. The training was ordered by the State Commissioner of Police, Betty Otimenyin.

The program covered critical areas such as VIP escort, ambush and counter-ambush tactics, musketry, combat craft, tactical retrogression movement, and search and rescue operations.
