The Honorable Minister of State, Petroleum Resources, Chief Timipre Sylva has congratulated Nigerian Muslims on the occasion of this year’s Ramadan fasting and celebrations.
In a statement released to Journalists in Abuja, the Minister asserted that it is gratifying that the celebration which embodies gratitude and happiness among other virtues came at a time when the country is grappling with the menace of the Corona Virus pandemic.
The Minister urged Nigerian Muslims to deepen their embrace of the virtues of love for country, moral consistency, tolerance, sincerity, spirit of sacrifice among other factors that “define us as a people”.
He thanked Muslims across the country for their prayers for the country which he considered to be an act of service and patriotism to the country.
