Farmer Governor Umaru Bago Reaffirms Commitment To Complete All Projects Initiated By His Administration

FIC Report (Niger State) – Niger State Governor, Farmer Mohammed Umaru Bago has reassured that his all projects initiated under his administration across the State are completed to serve the desired purposes.

He stated this in Enagi, Headquarters of Edati Local Government Area in continuation of his Statewide projects monitoring tour.

The Farmer Governor who gave kudos to the contractor handling the 5 km township road in Edati for the quality drains, however charged him to speed up work on the road construction.

Addressing residents and stakeholders of Edati, Farmer Governor Umaru Bago informed them that more projects will be initiated for their benefit and promised to monitor them periodically.

The Bima Enagi, Alh. Muhammad Yusuf, commended the Farmer Governor for his remarkable achievements in less than two years of his administration, especially in the agricultural sector.

He promised that Edati will provide 15,000 hectares of land to Niger Foods to compliment the state government agenda of feeding the nation.

The Bima Enagi then bestowed the title of Makaman Edati on the Farmer Governor.

However, at Kutigi, Headquarters of Lavun Local Government Area, Farmer Governor Bago expressed disappointment with the slow pace of the 5 km township road project in the Council area.

He gave the contractor two months to speed up the project reminding him of the no variation and compromise stand of the government.

The farmer Governor revealed plans to construct roads that would link Nagya,Sakpe, Kantigi, Gonagi,Gbara, Kutigi and Dabban Communities.

He implored the people of Lavun to continue to engage in farming activities, as Tractors and other modern equipment will be provided to them for increased productivity.

The Ezenuwan Kutigi, Muhammad Kudu Ibrahim and the Chairman of Lavun Local Government, Isah Mohammed, in their respective remarks, applauded the Farmer Governor, especially in settling communal clashes peacefully among other strides.
