FIC Report (Zamfara State) – President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has assured full support on Zamfara State to address insecurity situations and boosting economic activities in the state.
This is contained in a statement signed by the spokeperson of Governor Dauda Lawal, Sulaiman Idris and made available to newsmen in Gusau.
He stated that Governor Dauda Lawal met with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu at the State House, Abuja to present an update on security developments and economic performance in the state.
According to the statement the focus of the meeting was the security situations in the state particularly highlighting the success achieved so far and identifying areas that require improvement to facilitate the return of peace across the state.
Idris stated that President Bola Tinubu further responded by assuring deployment of more troops and essential equipments to guarantee smooth operation.
He however reaffirmed the Federal Government commitment on support to encompasses exploring Federal resources and programs that could be utilized to enhance local industries and generate job opportunities in Zamfara.
