The Federal Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Reduction has noted with dismay a fraudulent message currently circulating on WhatsApp and other social media platforms, inviting members of the public to register for the HOPE-SP programme throughshrtna.com/HOPE-SP-HOUSEHOLDS-SUPPORT-NG.
The public are hereby informed that the Ministry did not issue, authorise or endorse the circulating message or the registration link. Nigerians are therefore urged to disregard the information and refrain from submitting any personal, banking or other details through the platform.
The Ministry is taking appropriate steps to report the fraudulent platform to the relevant authorities and protect Nigerians, particularly vulnerable households, from exploitation.
HOPE-SP is a Federal Government social protection intervention. Nigerians are urged to verify information through the Ministry’s official communication channels and to share this warning—not the fraudulent link.
