KANO (Kano FIC Report) – Kano state Governor, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, has declared free and compulsory basic primary and secondary education for school age children and free, at all levels, for disabled persons in the State.
He made this declaration recently in his acceptance speech shortly after being sworn in as Kano State Governor for a second term, in Kano, on Wednesday 29th May, 2019.
The Governor further revealed that, tertiary education for Kano indigenes, will be subsidized, as government consolidates on the achievements so far recorded in healthcare delivery.
Ganduje intimated in his speech, that a new company known as “Kano State Small Town Water Supply Agency” would be established to cater for the water needs of communities in rural areas.
He reiterated his administration’s policy of zero tolerance to corruption and promised to boost agriculture
