FIC Report (Kaduna State) – The Governor of kaduna State Senator Uba Sani presented the 2025 Draft Budget Estimates for Kaduna State to the State House of Assembly.
Sani said the total budget estimate is N790 billion. N553 billion (70%) is for Capital Expenditure, while N237 billion (30%) is for Recurrent Expenditure.
He said the 2025 Budget is a product of intensive and extensive consultations with stakeholders in Kaduna State.
He also mentioned In the 2025 Budget, that have prioritized some key sectors. Education has been allocated the lion share of the budget, N206.6 billion (26.14%), Health N127 billion (16.07%), Infrastructure N106 billion (13.41%), Agriculture N74 billion (9.36%), Security N11.2 billion (1.42%), and Social Welfare N9.8 billion (1.24%).
Governor said the 2025 draft Budget represents a bold commitment to the future of Kaduna State. It is a reflection of our determination to drive inclusive development, create jobs, improve infrastructure, and invest in the people of Kaduna State.
He urge the Honourable House to give the budget the necessary support it deserves, as we work together to turn these plans into reality.
Sani said that the 2025 fiscal year will be a year of transformation.
