Honourable Minister Hannatu Musa-Musawa Leads Charge at Federal Ministry of Art, Culture, and the Creative Economy’s Inaugural Retreat

In a resounding display of commitment to transformative leadership, Honourable Minister Hannatu Musa-Musawa spearheaded the Federal Ministry of Art, Culture, and the Creative Economy’s historic maiden retreat, held at the Main Conference Hall of the Federal Ministry of Education, Federal Secretariat Complex, Phase III, Abuja.

The retreat, themed “Driving Creativity and Innovation Towards Destination 2030,” echoed the Minister’s unwavering dedication to positioning Nigeria’s creative sector as a global powerhouse. Mr. James Sule, OON, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry, lauded the Minister’s visionary approach in unfolding and vigorously pursuing the vision of repositioning the sector, aptly tagged “Destination 2030.”

Throughout the event, Minister Musa-Musawa’s impassioned commitment to fostering collaboration, innovation, and inclusivity was palpable. Her leadership ignited discussions aimed at harnessing the boundless potential of the creative economy to drive sustainable growth and development.

The heads of each agency within the Ministry, along with the Directors of the Ministry, were in attendance for the first day of the retreat. They presented strategic roadmaps for their respective agencies, outlining key initiatives and priorities for advancing the sector’s goals.

As the day 1 of the retreat concluded, Minister Musa-Musawa expressed confidence in the collective efforts of all stakeholders to propel Nigeria’s creative economy to new heights. The event marked a pivotal moment in the ministry’s journey towards realizing its transformative goals under the Minister’s dynamic leadership.
