FIC Report (Ondo State) – The Ondo State Resident Electoral Commissioner, Mr. Olusegun Agbaje, announced that materials for the upcoming governorship election in Ondo State have arrived earlier today. The materials were transported via the Nigerian Air Force and were received by officials from the Central Bank.
Mr. Olusegun emphasized that the early delivery was to ensure timely distribution to all polling units, particularly in remote areas such as Ilaje, to prevent any delays.
He further mentioned that the commission is preparing for a total of 2,530,061 registered voters for this election. In addition, Mr. Olusegun highlighted that public awareness campaigns and stakeholder engagements have been conducted to promote peace and discourage violence, with the aim of avoiding an inconclusive election.
