Jigawa State Governor Swears-in New Executive Council

JIGAWA (FIC JIGAWA) Governor Muhammadu Badaru Abubakar of Jigawa State, has formed a new cabinet with the swearing-in of 11 Commissioners and 15 Special Advisers.

He inaugurated the Executive Council at the Government House Conference Hall, Duste, after over 120 days in office.

Alhaji Muhammed Badaru Abubakar, called on the new appointees to support his administration by providing good governance to the citizens of Jigawa State.

The newly appointed Commissioners are Dr. Abba Zakari for the Ministry of Health, Eng. Aminu Usman – Ministry of Works and Housing, Alhaji Ibrahim Garba Hanua Giwa – Ministry of Water And Resources, Barr. Musa Adamu Aliyu – Ministry of Justice and Attorney General of the State, Alhaji Ibrahim Baba Chaichai – Ministry of Environment. Others are Lawan Yunusa Dan Zanno – Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, Kabiru Hassan Sugungun, Ministry for local Government, Muhammad AL Hassan – Ministry of Youth Sport and Culture, Hajia Yalwa Da’u Tijjani – Ministry of Women Affairs and Community Development, while Salisu Zakari – Ministry of Commerce and Industries and Babangida Umar Gantsa – Ministry of Finance and Economic Planning.

Alhaji Muhammadu Badaru Abubakar, called on the citizens of Jigawa State to support the newly appointed Commissioners to discharge their responsibilities accordingly.

The Commissioner of Justice, Barr. Musa Adamu Aliyu promised that they will not fail the people of Jigawa State and the State Governor.
