FIC REPORT (KADUNA STATE) – The Kaduna State Governor, Senator Uba Sani, CON, has described the historic flag-off of the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential campaign in Kaduna as a significant demonstration of party unity, leadership cohesion and collective commitment to securing a second term for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR.
The Governor expressed profound honour at Kaduna State hosting the landmark political gathering, which attracted governors, party leaders, stakeholders and supporters from across the country.
He noted that the massive turnout of citizens who lined the streets from the airport to the stadium to welcome President Tinubu reflected the people’s confidence in his leadership and the enduring relationship between the President and the people of the North.
According to Governor Uba Sani, the enthusiastic reception accorded the President conveyed a clear message about the strength of public support for his administration and the shared determination to sustain the progress being made under the Renewed Hope Agenda.
The Governor highlighted the impact of the Renewed Hope Agenda across Kaduna State and the wider North-West, particularly in infrastructure, education, healthcare, agriculture, transportation and other critical sectors.
He observed that these investments address the everyday needs of citizens while advancing the aspirations of communities for sustainable development, improved living standards and greater economic opportunities.
Governor Uba Sani emphasised that continuity in leadership must be accompanied by greater responsibility, renewed commitment and a sustained focus on the welfare of Nigerians.
He called on party members, political stakeholders and supporters to translate the unity demonstrated at the campaign flag-off into collective action, grassroots mobilisation and a shared commitment to national development.
Reaffirming the political position of the region, the Governor declared that the North remains firmly behind President Tinubu, expressing confidence in the party’s ability to mobilise widespread support for a decisive victory in the January 2027 presidential election.
He urged Nigerians to remain committed to the vision of a stronger, more prosperous and united nation, stressing that sustained collaboration and purposeful leadership are essential to consolidating the country’s development gains.
Governor Uba Sani concluded by reiterating Kaduna State’s commitment to working with the President and other stakeholders to advance the Renewed Hope Agenda and secure a brighter future for all Nigerians.
