FIC Report (Kaduna State) – The Executive Governor of Kaduna State, Senator Uba Sani, represented by the Hon. Commissioner for Youth Development, Barrister, Gloria Ibrahim, has reassured the 2026 Batch B Stream I corps members of the state government’s unwavering support for the NYSC scheme.
Speaking at the event, Barr. Ibrahim stated that Kaduna State will continue to partner with the NYSC, security agencies, and host communities to safeguard the welfare and security of corps members.
She further called on both the public and private sectors to embrace, mentor, and entrust corps members with meaningful responsibilities.
She said when you invest in our youth, you invest in the future of Kaduna State and the nation at large.
Earlier, the State Coordinator, National Youth Service Corps, Mrs. Efeke Murna Dadaza, urged corps members to uphold the core values of the scheme. She charged them to be diligent, respectful, and innovative in their conduct, and to integrate peacefully with their host communities by respecting local customs and obeying all laws.
Mrs. Dadaza also encouraged corps members to leverage the Community Development Service (CDS) groups to identify pressing needs in their host communities and initiate projects that will create lasting, positive impact.
The event was attended by dignitaries from various government parastatals.
