Minister visits set of ‘The Labour Room’ reality show in Abuja

The Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, has on Thursday November 16, 2017, paid a visit to the set of ”THE LABOUR ROOM” Reality Show in Abuja.

THE LABOUR ROOM is being touted as Nigeria’s first TV Reality Show geared towards the issue of national development.

The show brings together 37 youths, christened as “Governors”, selected from the 36 States and the Federal Capital Territory, at a location called “Labour Room Mansion.”

While in the mansion, they discussed and debated the challenges hampering Nigeria’s development and proffered solutions, to be compiled into their ”Green Book”.

During his visit, the Minister briefed the ”Governors” on the achievements and challenges of the Buhari Administration and also fielded questions.

The “Governors” had earlier briefed the Minister on their mission and experiences in the house, while also introducing their various pet
projects that covered such broad areas as ICT, Education, Agriculture,
Culture and Tourism, Renewable Energy, among others.
