The Director-General of the National Boundary Commission, Surv. Adamu A. Adaji has congratulated Muslims and Nigerians on the occasion of this year’s Eid-el-Kabir celebration, urging citizens to embrace the virtues of peace, sacrifice, and unity for the continued progress and stability of the country.
Speaking in Abuja, Adaji noted that the Eid-el-Kabir celebration coincides with the ongoing political primaries across the country, and urged political actors, party supporters, and Nigerians to uphold peace, respect democratic principles, and promote national unity throughout the exercise.
He also encouraged Nigerians to extend charity and kindness to the less privileged in the spirit of the season, while emphasizing the importance of boundaries as essential tools for effective administration, peaceful coexistence, national security, and sustainable development.
He wishes Nigerians a peaceful and memorable Eid-el-Kabir celebration and prayed for continued peace, unity, and prosperity for the nation.
