The Director-General of the Nigerian Technical Aid Corps (NTAC), Rt. Hon. Yusuf Buba Yakub, has reaffirmed Nigeria’s commitment to sustainable development at the ongoing International Forum on Total Official Support for Sustainable Development (TOSSD) in New York, USA.
Delivering his intervention virtually, the NTAC boss highlighted Nigeria’s growing role in South-South Cooperation, particularly through the provision of Technical Assistance, Capacity Building, and Human Capital Development across partner countries.
He emphasized the need for comprehensive and inclusive reporting of all development support, noting that TOSSD offers a credible framework for capturing Nigeria’s contributions and strengthening transparency in global development financing.
He also called for enhanced collaboration among developing countries to promote shared growth and regional integration.
Nigeria’s participation through NTAC underscores its continued dedication to international cooperation and the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
