The Permanent Secretary, Federal Ministry of Information and Culture,Mrs Lydia Shehu Jafiya, Mni, has received the Interim Report of the Enterprise Content Management System of the Ministry from the Project Management Team (PMT).
The Permanent Secretary in her remarks thanked the Team for the report and urged them to do more as the year is almost coming to an end.
Mrs Lydia Shehu Jafiya Mni, implored the Team to ensure that all Departments and Directors go through the Standard Operating  Procedure (SOP ) document for the Ministry and that it is in line with the Ministry’s Mandate, Work Flow and the Mandate of their various departments.
She promised to support the Team and to see that the ECMS project and Digitisation of work process in the Ministry is fully implemented.
Earlier in her remarks during the presentation,the Team Lead,Mrs Comfort Ajiboye said in order to fully implement ECMS in the Ministry,the Project Management Team (PMT)was inaugurated in March 2022 to accelerate the process.
She informed that the Team went on study visits to MDAs already implementing ECMS,carried out market survey and made recommendations which is included in the report.
The Director, Human Resource Management of the Ministry and member of the Team,Mrs Grace Okani  in remarks  said  Standard Operating Procedure (SOP)of the Ministry is ready and will be vetted by Directors and Departments.                          P Â
She reiterated the need for sensitization of Directors and staff of the Ministry on the Enterprise Content Management System (ECMS) and the SOPs.
