PS Women Affairs Assumes Office, Charges Workers on Improved Service Delivery

The Permanent Secretary, Federal Ministry of Women Affairs, Ambassador Gabriel Aduda has charged the Management and Staff of the Ministry on improved service delivery with a view to ensuring the realization of the mandate set out for it.

The Permanent Secretary made the call today during the Handing/Taking Over Ceremony held at the Ministry’s Conference Room in Abuja.

He stated that in the day-to-day march towards the socio-economic transformation of the country, it behoves on the staff to ensure that the virtues of hardwork, commitment and creativity are brought to bear in the discharge of duties in order to ensure the empowerment of Nigerian women, children and the vulnerable in line with the Renewed Hope Agenda of the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu-led Administration .

At every opportunity, put your best foot forward, be committed, hardworking and creative, so that together, we can take the Ministry to the expected height, he said.

While commending the former Permanent Secretaries for their managerial prowess that had brought the Ministry to its present status, he further urged the staff to ensure team work for effective implementation of the policy thrust of government.

Earlier in his address, the Director Overseeing the Office of the Permanent Secretary, Mr. Francis Adebisi assured that the staff will bring in their wealth of experience to bear in ensuring the full implementation of the programmes and policy initiatives of the present administration aimed at improving the overall well-being of all Nigerians especially, women, children and the vulnerable.
