SAPPERS Engineering Ltd seeks collaboration with EPO on Project implementation

Sappers Engineering Nigeria Limited (SENL), a subsidiary of the Nigerian Army Engineers (NAE) has reached out to the Ecological Project Office (EPO) to offer its technical expertise in the implementation of ecological projects in the country.  It was stated that the company has the human resources, equipment and capacity to carry out any of the intervention projects towards national development.

Speaking during a courtesy visit to EPO, Thursday, September 22, 2022, the Director of Projects, SENL, Brig. General Aderemi Gbedebo, explained that the company was registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission and has been involved with several government projects, including:  Construction of Roads, Buildings, Bridges, Canals and Reservoirs in States across the federation.

He also stated that the company had performed similar projects with some MDAs including the Ministries of Power, Works, Transport and also Constituency Projects, adding that such projects are professionally and thoroughly executed by its team of experts.

The Director, Overseeing the Office of the Permanent Secretary, EPO, Dr Famous Eseduwo, while expressing delight over the visit and the desired collaboration of SENL with EPO, said the office will encourage the company to be involved in the execution of some of its projects, especially considering the present security challenges facing the Country.

He explained that security is a frontline issue in government’s efforts at meeting some of the needs of Nigerians and to mitigate their challenges and believed that the collaboration will be an added value.

Dr Eseduwo assured that the request will be escalated to the Secretary to the Government of the Federation ((SGF) for further necessary action.
