FIC Report (Edo State) – Thousands of residents across Edo South Senatorial District received vital Health Care Services as Senator Neda Imasuen successfully wrapped up a three-day free Medical Outreach, reaching Communities in all seven local government areas.
The Outreach, organized by the Office of the Senator, took place from Saturday, February 21 to Monday, February 23, 2026, and was held simultaneously in Oredo, Egor, Ikpoba-Okha, Ovia North East, Ovia South West, Uhunmwonde, and Orhionmwon LGAs.
Participants benefited from a range of free Medical Services, including breast, Cervical, and Prostate Cancer Screenings, Blood pressure monitoring, Blood Sugar Testing, Malaria diagnosis, and Eye Examinations. The Program aimed to improve Health awareness and facilitate early detection of serious conditions.
Health Centers across the district served as Operational hubs, with Iguobazuwa Health Centre hosting residents from Ovia South West, Okada Health Centre serving Ovia North East, Uselu Community Town Hall accommodating those in Egor, and Evbomodu Health Centre providing services in Ikpoba-Okha. Urokpota Hall was the venue for Oredo, Eyaen Health Centre for Uhunmwonde, and Abudu Health Centre for Orhionmwon.
The initiative drew large crowds, with Medical Teams providing Consultations, Screenings, and Basic treatments—an effort to enhance healthcare access and promote early intervention in life-threatening illnesses.
This outreach is part of Senator Imasuen’s ongoing efforts to improve the health and wellbeing of her Constituents and strengthen grassroots healthcare delivery. Beneficiaries expressed gratitude, describing the program as timely and impactful, especially in communities where access to quality healthcare remains a challenge.
