The National Coordinator/Chief Executive Officer, Mrs Nnenna Akajemeli, has called on all Nodal Officers in different Ministries Departments and Agencies (MDA’s) of governments to synergize with relevant Stakeholders to enhance improvements in service delivery in Nigeria.
The National Coordinator stated this during the 3rd quarter breakfast meeting of Council of Nodal Officers from different MDA’s under the Protocol list of SERVICOM in Abuja.
She explained that the quarterly meetings Nodal Officers is in line with SERVICOM’s mandate and method of improving citizens’ satisfaction by promoting service excellence in MDAs.
Explaining further, she said that the Forum is an avenue that creates room for MDA’s to network and provide a platform for deliberating on issues of service experiences encountered with citizens.
Akajemeli further explained that the SERVICOM Office commenced the breakfast meetings in the first, second and third quarter of this year to brainstorm and share ideas on best practices that would promote service excellence and exceed citizens expectations in the year 2024.
The National Coordinator stated that as part of the set objectives of the Breakfast meeting is to encourage synergy in MDA’s, entrench efficiency and share knowledge in order to bridge service delivery gaps among others.
“The meeting she said has enduring benefits such as periodic update of Council members on the upcoming planned events of the SERVICOM Office.
It is also a platform to create awareness on damaging effects of service by entrenching best practice acronym the MDAs.
The meeting she further pointed out is to sustain improvements in service delivery initiatives, as well as create an avenue for SERVICOM’s support in the drive towards repositioning the Ministerial SERVICOM Units from all MDA’s under her purview among others.”
Mrs Akajemeli assured the Nodal Officers of working together with them to hold MDA’s accountable towards the drive of sustainable quality service delivery rendered to Nigerians.
The Week-long break-fast meeting is expected to host One Hundred and Twelve MDAs under SERVICOM’S protocol list with clear mandate and evaluate their scores in line with their functionality as stipulated in their various work plan for the year 2024.
This she said, would help the SERVICOM Office to ascertain and grade the MSU’s and PSU”s of the various MDA’S and send their scorecard to the CEO’s as a feedback platform deployed by SERVICOM to sustain improvements across board.
