FIC Report (Sokoto State) – Sokoto state Government, Hon. Aminu Waziri Tambuwal flagged of the construction of N1.5 million liters capacity water scheme in Tureta local government area of the state.
Tambuwal said the project is part of his administration’s to boost water supply across the state.
According to him, the project which cost four hundred million would serve Tureta local government and its environs with portable water and pledged to continue to fulfil his campaign promises, even as the provision of portable water was one of them.
The governor also used the opportunity to lay foundation for the construction of classroom blocks for the Junior secondary School, Islamiya in the local government.
He disclosed that the project would be executed at the cost of N 80 million and also announced the upgrading of the school to the status of Government Day Secondary School after completion of the project.
