FIC REPORT (OSUN STATE) – President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has appointed the Speaker of the Osun State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Adewale Olumide Egbedun, as the Deputy Director, South West Youth Mobilization of the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu (PBAT) Presidential Campaign Council ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The appointment is part of the President’s strategic moves to strengthen youth mobilization across the South West geopolitical zones comprising Lagos, Ogun, Oyo, Osun, Ondo and Ekiti States.
Rt. Hon. Egbedun, who also serves as the Co-Chairman of the Accord National and State Assembly Candidates in Osun State and recently emerged as the consensus candidate for Odo-Otin Constituency, has reaffirmed his total commitment to the re-election bid of President Tinubu.
According to a statement from his media office, the Speaker assured that his political structure and grassroots network will be fully deployed to secure overwhelming support for President Tinubu in Osun and across the South West.
Hon Egbedu, who has served as Speaker of the 8th Osun State House of Assembly since June 2023, has also commended Governor Ademola Adeleke for his leadership and support for the political alliance aimed at advancing the interests of Osun State.
