The First Lady reassured President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration’s determination to rid Nigerians of poverty by creating a conducive environment for businesses to thrive.
“By supporting Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), we empower local entrepreneurs to generate employment thereby offering a lifeline to those struggling to make ends meet. This not only reduces unemployment rates but also enhances the overall well-being of individuals and families”.

She commended the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation for its commitment to ensuring that it fulfils the mission and vision of the present administration to bring as many Nigerians as possible out of the poverty line.
Earlier, the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation, Dr Betta Edu said her Ministry is set to get as many as 50 million Nigerians out of poverty within one year as demanded by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
