FIC Report (Abuja) – On the early hours of today Sunday 22 December 2024 Abaji Area Council Chairman, Honorable Abubakar Umar Abdullahi attended Widows cash Empowerment programme organized by the council speaker and a councillor representing South East ward of Abaji Area Council, Honorable Faruq Haruna Musa Matasa.
Speaking on the empowerment schema the council Chairman affirm to the people that he is privilege to attend this historic ceremony on widows empowerment programme in his community to encourage other council member to emulate the speaker by extending their hand of fellowship to the less privileges within their neighbourhoods. He also expressed his confidence that his administration is always ready to empower and protect the interest of it’s people irrespective of their political affiliation.
On his presentation ,the speaker Honorable Musa encourage other political appointees to give what belongs to the people back to them, that the Almighty Allah will examine each an every one of them at here after.
The speaker also attest to the public that he has never for one day make a personal request from the council Chairman , rather centered his people’s demands, he so called on the beneficiaries to utilize the fund judiciously at this crucial time of economic downturn.
In addition, the speaker reiterate his confidence in the administration of Honorable Abubakar Umar Abdullahi that they have learned alot on his leadership styles as a man of courage empathy that has his people at heart by inspiring numerous life’s of our teaming youth studying across the country by introducing bursary award a scheme which has impact positively to the life of our people .
The ceremony was attended by party stalwarts across the council, councillors representing ten wards of the Area Council and lot more.
Lastly, the amalgamation of widows association jointly prayed to the council Leader and his executives for such humanitarian gesture.
