In a noteworthy effort to bolster economic cooperation, the Honourable Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy Mr Wale Edun has received in his office in Abuja today a high level delegation led by the Turkish Ambassador to Nigeria, H.E. Hidayet Bayraktai.

The meeting marked a crucial step in enhancing trade and investment between Nigeria and Turkey, with both nations expressing commitment to fostering a business-friendly environment.

The discussion centered on exploring new opportunities for economic growth, with HM Edun reaffirming President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s commitment to sustainable economic growth under the Renewed Hope Agenda.

The Minister also assured the delegation of the government’s continued support for foreign businesses, providing strategic insights to further strengthen economic ties.

The delegation commended Nigeria’s economic progress and expressed appreciation for President Bola Tinubu’s efforts in fostering a business-friendly environment.

They also explored new opportunities to enhance trade and investment between both nations.

With this meeting, Nigeria and Turkey are poised to take their economic relationship to the next level, driving growth, investment, and prosperity for both nations.
