FIC Report (Ondo State) – The Presidential Enabling Business Environment Council (PEBEC) provides technical assistance to state investment promotion agencies (IPAs) to improve the ease of doing business, particularly regarding specific deliverables (DLI) like DLI 4 and DLI 8.
In Ondo State, PEBEC is working with the Ondo State Investment Promotion Agency to achieve these goals. Specifically, PEBEC recently hosted a virtual session for State IPAs, including the one in Ondo State, focusing on improving the investment environment (DLI 4) and the quick determination of disputes (DLI 8). This session aimed to provide a comprehensive overview of PEBEC’s deliverables, including gap analysis and areas for improvement.
According to the State Coordinator of PEBEC who is also a Director in the Ondo state Investment House, Dr Richard Alonge the technical Assistant received from PEBEC to Ondo State fast forward the business Environment of the State ranking, presently Ondo State is ranked number 8 in state business environment moving from the 32rd position.
The State fully embraced PEBEC reforms through technical support and has recorded great accomplishment. Presently Ondo State Ondo State has a Business Orientation camp that attracts investors through PEBEC.
