FIC Report (Nasarawa State) – Nasarawa State governor Engr Abdullahi Sule has officially performed groundbreaking and flags-off of 39 Billion naira 2.6 km twin flyover Projects in Mararaba, Karu Local Government Area.
The event for the ground breaking ceremony of the project was held at the take off site of the projects at Mararaba, Karu Local Government Area.
Governor Sule while delivering his speech said that, the decision to embarked on such viable twin flyover projects has become Imperative as it is aimed at reducing the traffic Congestions which have been coursing untold hardship to motorist plying the road as well as improve Economic well being of the people.
Governor sule describing the viability of the twin flyover at Mararaba Karu local Government area of Nasarawa state, however pointed out that the flyover is designed to have two roundabouts under it and another roundabout at the technology village which he said that when completed would reduce gridlock and decongest the busy popular Mararaba Karu Nyanya axis.
He appreciated the Federal Government through the minister of Works Mr David Umahi for given the approval for the construction of twin flyovers, Governor Abdullahi also showered accolades to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for making resources available to the live changing projects across the Country.



He explained that the project is awarded to Triacta construction company Ltd, maintaining that already government has released the sum of 19 billion Naira to the contactor for the take off of the project, while expressing optimism that Triacta company will deliver the project within 18 months delivery period.
Managing Director Nasarawa state Urban development board Engr Yahaya Wada explained that the twin flyover in Karu is a 2.6 km going to be the longest flyover in Nigeria and one among the seventh interventions of the federal Government in the state.
On his part, the area manager Triacta Engineer Fersan Daou affirmed the commitment of his company to deliver excellent work and timely completion of the quality project at a specific period.
In their remarks, Chairman Karu local Government council and the Esu Karu pharmacist Luka Panya Baba both appreciated the state and the federal Government for the long awaiting projects promised total support and cooperation of citizens of the area.
