FIC Report (Delta State) – The Delta State Police Command has formally informed the good people of Delta State, particularly shortlisted applicants in the ongoing recruitment of 50,000 Police Constables into the Nigeria Police Force, that the Police Service Commission (PSC) in collaboration with the Nigeria Police Force, will commence physical and credential screening from Monday, 9th March to Friday, 18th April, 2026.
A press statement by the Command’s Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) Bright Edafe, ANIPR, on behalf of the Commissioner of Police Delta State, CP. Aina Adesola, stated that In Delta State, the screening exercise will take place at the Cenotaph, Asaba the state capital, strictly in accordance with the date and time specified on each applicant’s Invitation Slip.
The statement emphasised that candidates must log on to: npfapplication.psc.gov.ng to confirm their status and print the required documents.
It further stated that at the venue, applicants are to present their Invitation Slip (with assigned table), screening forms, evidence of physical/mental fitness from a government recognised medical hospital, NIN printout or NIMC card, O’ Level certificate, Birth Certificate or Declaration of Age, LGA/State of Origin certificate (duly signed by Local Government Chairman or Secretary), Trade Test/Certificate (for specialists only), duly completed Guarantors Form, and original and duplicate copies of credentials neatly arranged in two separate white flat files with recent passport photographs attached.
According to the statement, all applicants must appear dressed in white T-shirt, white shorts, white canvas shoes and white stockings, as prescribed.
The statement also disclosed that the Commissioner of Police, Delta State Command, CP. Aina Adesola, reiterates that the recruitment exercise is entirely free of charge and will be conducted with transparency and merit. “Applicants are strongly advised to disregard fraudsters or anyone demanding financial inducement, as such persons will be arrested and prosecuted”.
