During the event, President Muhammadu Buhari and Vice President Yemi Osinbajo (Prof) accompanied by their wives, Aisha Buhari and Dolapo Osinbajo were administered the Oath of Office and Oath of Allegiance by the Acting Chief Justice. They promised to abide, protect and defend Nigeria’s Constitution and Sovereignty as well as defray from indulgement in personal interests in the discharge of their duties as President and Vice President.
