The Minister of Defence, Major General Bashir Salihi Magashi (rtd) has visited a proposed facility for the Nigerian Army in Kuje, along the Airport Road Abuja.
Gen. Magashi who was accompanied by the Permanent Secretary, Dr. Ibrahim Abubakar Kana mni was received at the site by the Executive Director of Vaxholm Engineering Ltd, Barrister Collins Aimuan.
Conducting the Minister round the facility, the Executive Director said the facility has 5 separate factory houses with each comprising a production line, an office accommodation and storage facilities.
These, according to Barrister Collins are in addition to Residential accommodation and an expanse of land for future development.
The factories are for pampers, pads, panty liner, textile, plastic bottles as well as laboratory for recycling purpose.
Highlight of the visit was the presentation of a souvenir to the Defence Minister, Maj. Gen. Bashir Salihi Magashi by Barrister Collins.
On the Minister’s entourage are Representative of Defence Headquarters and the Director Army Department, Mr. Musa Attah.
