In other to deliver on results, under the President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, the Federal Ministry of Art, Culture, Tourism and Creative Economy, (FMACTCE), today trained Staff on the Performance Bond Implementation under the Performance Management System (PMS), in Abuja.
The Director, Planning, Research and Statistics, Dr. Zainab Pisagih in her opening remarks, reassured the participants of the Ministry’s commitment to strengthening key components on their understanding of Performance Bond framework and equip them with practical knowledge and skills required for its preparation, implementation, monitoring and reporting.
According to the Director, Performance Management System (PMS) is an important government initiative aimed at improving accountability, efficiency and service delivery in the Public Service. A key component of this initiative is the Performance Bond, which she said provides a framework for setting clear targets, monitors performance and achieves measurable results.
Pisagih emphasized that the knowledge gained today will support every participant in carrying out their responsibilities more effectively and contribute to the overall performance of the Ministry.
Furthermore, the implementation of the Performance Management Bond which is to ensure that every officer knows what is expected of them and is held accountable for results, has three Resource persons who trained the participants on the Overview of the Performance Management Bond Framework, the Preparation and Implementation of Performance Bonds, and the Monitoring, Evaluation and Performance Reporting.
The Training programme has in attendance selected Staff of the Ministry and selected Staff of all the Parastastals of the Ministry.
