FIC Report (Niger State) – Niger State Governor, Farmer Mohammed Umaru Bago, has approved the construction of the 44 km road from Lemu, headquarters of Gbako Local Government Area of the State to Kateregi Community in Katcha Local Government.
The Farmer Governor stated this in Lemu, Headquarters of Gbako Local Government Area while addressing the people.
He explained that the project would be executed under the Rural Access and Mobility Project (RAMP) and that when completed, movement of farm produce to market and other basic facilities will be made easy.
The farmer Governor further said the State Government under the Niger Foods would farm on both sides of the road in its bid to feed the nation.
He reiterated that his administration is determined to ensure that the food security agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is realised.
