The Federal Civil Service Commission (FCSC) has commenced the online accreditation exercise for candidates participating in the promotion exercise for Officers on Salary Grade Levels 14, 15 and 16 in the Federal Civil Service.
Accordingly, all affected candidates are required to complete their online accreditation through the Commission’s designated promotion portal from Friday, 14 August to Friday, 28 August 2026.
Candidates are expected to access the accreditation portal using the login details that will be sent to their respective registered email addresses. The Commission has advised all candidates to ensure that their accreditation is completed within the stipulated period.
For the avoidance of doubt, the accreditation portal will close on Friday, 28 August 2026, and the Commission will not extend the deadline for the exercise. Candidates who fail to complete their accreditation within the prescribed period will have to re-present themselves for the exercise in 2027.
The Commission has therefore urged all affected candidates to take advantage of the period provided and complete the accreditation process without waiting until the closing date.
The Commission has also implored Permanent Secretaries, Accounting Officers and Chief Executive Officers (CEOs) of Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs) to bring the contents of the official correspondence to the attention of all concerned staff, including officers serving at duty posts within and outside their headquarters, as well as those serving abroad, for necessary compliance.
The official correspondence conveying the directive was duly signed by the Honourable Chairman of the Federal Civil Service Commission, underscoring the Commission’s commitment to ensuring a transparent, orderly and timely conduct of the promotion exercise.
All concerned candidates and MDAs are advised to comply fully with the guidelines and timelines provided by the Commission.
