FIC Report (Akwa Ibom State) – Ahead of the Pilot Activation for the Decade of Gas LPG Penetration Programme and Distribution of LPG cylinders taking place in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, today, Thursday, August 20, 2026, Akwa Ibom State Governor, Pastor Umo Eno, earlier, received a delegation led by the Honourable Minister of State for Petroleum Resources (Gas), Obongemem Ekperikpe Ekpo in his office at Government House Uyo.
On hand to receive the delegation with the Governor were the Deputy Governor, Senator Akon Eyakenyi, Secretary to the State Government, Prince Enobong Uwah, Executive Assistant/Chief Delivery Advisor Mr Aniefiok Johnson, Dean, College of Commissioners, Hon Frank Archibong and other members of the State executive council.
In the Minister’s delegation were his wife, Lady Esitmbom Ekperikpe Ekpo, Ed Ubong – Coordinating Director, Decade of Gas; representative of the Ministers of Youth, and Women Affairs, Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Petroleum Resources, Mallam Rabiu Umar Abdullahi: Authority Chief Executive (ACE), Nigeria Midstream and Downstream Petroleum Resources Authority (NMDPRA), Engr. Felix Omatsila Ogbe, among others.
