Governor Ikpeazu employs 5oo Abians in Homeland Security

About 500 young Abians have been drawn from the 17 Local Government Areas of the State and recruited into the State Homeland Security System through the innovative mind of Governor Okezie Ikpeazu in setting up the Ministry of Homeland Security for the very first time in the history of Abia State.

They have been trained by the Nigeria Police and are ready to be deployed across the State as Neighborhood Watch Guards and Forest Guards to help secure our environment against the incessant killings and kidnappings that have become the order of the day.
500 persons are therefore taken off the Labour market in one fell swoop!

These newly recruited Officers of our Homeland Security Unit will work with the Police in the management of CPAMS which was launched today by the Governor.

They have been trained in data management and software appreciation and will form the first batch of security personnel in Abia State with top flight software training experience.
