The Kano State government has commenced the National Immunization campaign for which 3.2 million children were targeted across the State.
This statement was made known by the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Health, Usman Bala Mohammed, who stated that for over 60 months, the virus was not detected in the State.
He explained that, the August campaign, which began on Saturday, August 3rd, 2019, would be concluded August 8, across the 44 Local Government Areas of the State, with special emphasis on the eight metropolitan local government areas.
