FIC Report (Kwara State) – National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Person (NAPTIP) Kwara State Command, has extend hands of collaboration with Federal Ministry of Information in the war against human trafficking.
The Agency, led by the State Commander, Mr Saadu Mustapha Ajara made this known during a courtesy and sensitisation call to the Federal Information Center, Ilorin on 17th February, 2025.
Ajara explained the agency strategic programmes which includes Policy, Prevention strategy(educating the society) , Protection strategy (rescuing victims), Prosecution strategy (arresting suspects) and Partnership with critical stakeholders like police, civil defense, min of women and social affairs, NGOs, national orientation agency in ensuring the menace of human trafficking reduce to a bearest minimum.
In a swift response,the Head, FIC Ilorin, Mr hammed Abubakar Olarewaju appreciates the agency’s visit and promised to synergize by propagating the agency’s policies whenever it call upon.
The courtesy call had all Staff members of FIC and the NAPTIP team in attendance.
