NDDC MD Engages Bayelsa Staff, Reaffirms Commitment to Reform and Service Delivery

FIC Report (Bayelsa State) – Yenagoa, Bayelsa State — The Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), Dr. Samuel Ogbuku, has reaffirmed the Commission’s commitment to institutional reforms and enhanced service delivery during an engagement with staff at the Bayelsa State Office in Yenagoa.

The visit formed part of the MD/CEO’s ongoing working tour of the region aimed at strengthening internal operations and fostering closer interaction with staff across NDDC state offices.

Dr. Ogbuku expressed appreciation for the warm reception accorded him and commended the staff for their dedication, resilience, and professionalism. He noted that their unwavering commitment remains critical to driving the Commission’s renewed vision of repositioning the NDDC for optimal performance and greater impact across the Niger Delta region.

The engagement also provided an opportunity for the MD/CEO to brief staff on ongoing policy reforms and digitisation initiatives within the Commission. He emphasized that the reforms are designed to streamline workflow processes, eliminate inefficiencies, and enhance transparency, accountability, and overall operational efficiency.

Dr. Ogbuku reiterated the importance of embracing innovation and institutional change as key drivers in achieving the Commission’s mandate of sustainable development in the Niger Delta.

He urged staff to remain committed and aligned with the Commission’s transformation agenda, assuring them of management’s continued support in creating a more productive and transparent work environment.
