The Federal Government of Nigeria congratulates the Government and people of the Republic of Equatorial Guinea on the occasion of the country’s 58th Independence Anniversary.
Nigeria and Equatorial Guinea enjoy cordial bilateral relations, underpinned by longstanding ties and a shared commitment to strengthening cooperation in areas of mutual interest, including maritime security, the marine economy, trade and investment, and oil and gas.
Both countries also collaborate within regional and multilateral frameworks to promote African unity, regional integration, international peace and sustainable development.
On this auspicious occasion, Nigeria wishes the Government and people of Equatorial Guinea continued peace, unity, progress and prosperity.
