The Management of the Nigerian Technical Aid Corps (NTAC) has held an interactive session with Corps Members and Interns serving in the organisation, aimed at acquainting them with NTAC’s mandate, operations, administrative structure and expectations in the workplace.
The session, held on Thursday, 16th July 2026, at the NTAC Conference Room, featured presentations by members of Management on professional conduct, workplace ethics, NTAC’s mandate and operations, financial procedures, internal audit and protocol services.
Welcoming the participants, the Director of Programmes, Ambassador Bello A. Jaye, conveyed the warm greetings of the Director-General/CEO, Rt. Hon. Yusuf Buba Yakub, and urged the Corps Members and Interns to take full advantage of their experience at NTAC by learning, developing their skills and contributing meaningfully to the organisation.
The Director of Administration, Ambassador Saidu D. Muhammad, spoke on professional conduct and workplace ethics, stressing the importance of discipline, punctuality, appropriate dressing, mutual respect, responsibility and professionalism.
An overview of NTAC’s history, mandate and operations was presented by the Assistant Director of Programmes II, Mr. Falusi Ade, who explained that NTAC advances Nigeria’s foreign policy through the deployment of skilled Nigerian professionals as volunteers to African, Caribbean and Pacific (ACP) countries and other developing nations in need of technical assistance.
The Assistant Director of Accounts briefed participants on the functions of the Accounts Department, particularly the processing and payment of allowances, while the Head of Internal Audit emphasised accountability, transparency, integrity and adherence to established procedures.
The Special Assistant to the Director-General on Protocol, Mr. Lawandy Bala, explained the role of the Protocol Department in coordinating the Director-General’s local and international official engagements and ensuring the smooth execution of related activities.

The session also featured an interactive Question and Answer segment, providing participants with an opportunity to seek clarification on issues relating to their service and NTAC’s operations.
The engagement concluded with a vote of thanks by Corps Member Ebunoluwa of the Information Unit, who appreciated Management for organising the session and sharing valuable insights with the participants.
The interaction underscored NTAC’s commitment to nurturing young professionals and ensuring that Corps Members and Interns have a productive, disciplined and rewarding experience while contributing to the organisation’s mandate.
