Okezie Ikpeazu seeks collaboration with NAF on pipeline vandalism

UMUAHIA (FIC’ Report)- Abia State Governor, Okezie Victor Ikpeazu has called on the Nigeria Air Force to synergize to fight pipeline vandalism and other economic sabotage in Nigeria through air surveillance.

The Governor made the call when he received the Air Officer Commanding ,Ground Training Command,Enugu,Air Vice Mashall Sampson Okon Akpasa,who paid a courtesy call to the Governor in Executive Chambers of Government House,Umuahia.

He said if States are able to procure trackers,it would help curb crimes and criminal activities.

The Governor thanked the Officer for coming and assured him of the partnership of the State to ensure the State remains secured.

Earlier in his speech,the Air Officer Commanding Ground Training,Air Vice Mashal, Sampson Okon Akpasa said he was in the State to familiarize himself to the State as the Officer Commanding,Ground Training,Enugu.

He assured the Governor the unalloyed support of his men to maintain security in the State.

The officer, who thanked the Governor for giving them audience, commiserated with the Governor on the demise of his Chief of Staff.
