FIC Report (Kaduna State) – The His Excellency president Bola Ahmed Tinubu Flag off Reconstruction of Kaduna Mando Birnin Gwari 122km able represented by His Excellency Kaduna State Governor Senator Uba Sani at the groundbreaking ceremony for the reconstruction of the 122-kilometre Kaduna–Mando–Birnin Gwari Road, while also participating in my capacity as the Governor of Kaduna State.
He said It was a defining moment that speaks to a shared national resolve to consolidate peace, expand opportunity and deliver enduring progress through purposeful leadership.
Sani said on behalf of Mr. President, he conveyed his unwavering commitment to the people of Kaduna State and his determination to improve their quality of life through strategic investments in infrastructure, security and inclusive economic development.
He also expressed my profound appreciation to him for approving this transformational project and ensuring the timely release of the resources required for its successful execution.
Uba mentioned that for more than three decades, this vital corridor has awaited comprehensive reconstruction. Today, we begin far more than the rehabilitation of a road; we are restoring a strategic artery of commerce and connectivity that will reunite communities, unlock agricultural potential, facilitate trade, strengthen food security and reinforce national cohesion.
He pointed out this project affirms a fundamental truth: peace and development are mutually reinforcing. Sustainable security creates the conditions for investment and prosperity, while inclusive development strengthens the foundations of lasting peace.
Sani extend his sincere appreciation to the Honourable Minister of Works, Senator Engr. David Nweze Umahi, CON, and the Federal Ministry of Works for their steadfast commitment to this landmark undertaking. I also warmly welcome the contractors, J. Patel & Sons Nigeria Limited, and look forward to the delivery of infrastructure distinguished by quality, durability and excellence.
The Governor also said the goodwill message expressed by our revered traditional rulers, community leaders and other stakeholders was deeply encouraging. Their recognition of the tangible progress being made in strengthening security, fulfilling commitments and delivering critical infrastructure is both affirming and inspiring.
He further said It reinforces our resolve to remain steadfast in building a Kaduna State that is more peaceful, more connected, more economically vibrant and more prosperous for generations to come.
