SERVICOM calls for Sustained Service Delivery Initiatives in MDA’s Service Wide

The National coordinator / CEO SERVICOM, Mrs. Nnenna Akajemeli has called for sustained service delivery initiatives in MDA’s. This call was made during the inauguration /induction of the National Identity Management Commission SERVICOM Parastatal Unit, today 13th march, 2024 at the NIMC Headquarters office Abuja.

According to the Coordinator, today’s inauguration of the Parastatal SERVICOM Unit marks a critical step in our attempt to sustain the service delivery initiatives in NIMC.”

She noted the efforts of NIMC’s Management towards entrenching the culture of continuous implementation in delivering quality and timely services to Nigerians.

She stated that such commitment and enthusiasm as demonstrated by the Agency would be sustained for service delivery to make impact within and add value to the Renewed Hope Agenda of the Federal Government.

She reiterated SERVICOM’s commitment in promoting effective and efficient service delivery in MDA’s, that would ensure customers satisfaction and manage the performance expectation gaps between government and the citizens.

The National Coordinator enjoined NIMC’s Management to ensure that all hands must be on deck to achieve NIMC’s vision to provide a digital primary identity for all citizens and legal residents, making it a reference point for all.

While Inaugurating NIMC’s SERVICOM Parastatal Unit, the Coordinator called for the SERVICOM units to foster collaboration amongst internal departments within the Agency tailored towards providing assured identity needs of Nigerians.

She called on the Agency to play a pivotal role in determining the success or failure of services in the National Identification number to any person registered in Nigeria.

Mrs. Akajemeli reiterated NIMC’S role to be a citizen- focused Agency in the formulation of policies and programmes as well as in monitoring the performance of their personnel through surveys.

She called on the Management of NIMC to lead the service improvement process of the SERVICOM Unit by giving their full support to the unit to function optimally.

In her welcome address, the Director General, National Identity Management Commission (NIMC), Engr. Bisoye Coker Odusote, said that “customer focus is paramount in our pursuit of excellence, as we strive to prioritize the interests and satisfactions of every individual we serve”.

Furthermore, accountability and transparency serves as our guiding principles, while ensuring that we uphold the highest standards of integrity and responsibility in all our actions and decisions.

She also stated that efficiency and effectiveness are essential pillars of NIMC’s operational framework, as the Agency endeavor to optimize resources and processes to achieve set objectives with maximum impacts.

Engineer Odusote, pledged her commitment to continuous improvements that underscores NIMS’s dedication to ongoing learning, innovations and advancement in all aspects of her work that would enhance the shared vision in service excellence to the Nigerian citizens.
