Mrs. Lawal outlined the core mandates of the newly inaugurated Ministerial SERVICOM Unit and Committee (MSU/MSC), which included officers drawn from key departments such as Planning, Research, and Statistics, as well as Reform Coordination and Service Improvement among others. She charged the committee to “spearhead the review and implementation of the Ministry’s Service Charter, establish robust grievance redress mechanisms, monitor quality standards, and manage customer feedback across all service windows”.
In her welcoming address, on behalf of the Permanent Secretary, Dr. Mary Ada Ogbe, the Director of Special Duties, Mrs. Gloria Inyangabasi, described the advocacy visit and the inauguration as a “vital milestone in institutionalising professionalism and responsiveness within the Ministry”.
