FIC Report (Katsina State) – The Peace & Security summit with the Northwest Governors hosted by H.E Governor of Katsina Malam Dikko Radda took place on the 24th and 25th. The Summit aims to forge a path to sustainable peace in the region.
The vice president who represented president Bola Tinubu while in Katsina, commissioned the 16-bed state-of-the-art Dialysis Centre.
The Dialysis Centre was successfully constructed by Dikko Radda’s administration and is situated at the General Amadi Rimi Specialist Hospital, Katsina.
The construction and equipping of this facility were completed within an impressive nine-month period. The primary goal of this new Dialysis Centre is to significantly improve the accessibility and affordability of kidney treatment for patients in the state, making critical healthcare services more readily available to those in need.
On another development, The Vice President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Sen. Kashim Shettima officially performed the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of Katsina Eastern bypass, 3 no roads connecting to the eastern bypass and 5 no grid roads connecting Katsina municipal central area.
The summit has in attendance the Minister of Defense, His Excellency, Badaru Abubakar and Senator Abdulaziz Yari, the inspector general of police Mr Kayode Egbetokun, the Zamfara State Governor, Dr. Dauda Lawal Dare; the Governor of Jigawa State, Umar Namadi; and the Deputy Governors of Kaduna, Kebbi and Sokoto states as well as Secretary to the State Government of Kano.
Others were former president Muhammadu Buhari, former governors Aminu Bello Masari and Ibrahim Shema and other dignitaries.
